We build swimming pools 10% to 35% more cost-effectively than equivalent gunite or shotcrete pools. Our method involves constructing a basement-like structure, either in-ground, above-ground, or anywhere in between, which is then filled with water.
How It Works
1. Excavation & Slab Pouring – After excavation, we pour a reinforced concrete slab as the pool's foundation.
2. Foam Block Walls (ICF System) – We install BuildBlock ICF (Insulated Concrete
Form) walls around the perimeter, shaping the pool, spa, and any custom jogs or features using six different radius blocks.
3. Concrete Pouring – Once the walls are in place, we pour concrete to complete the structure.
Advantages of Our Pool Construction
● Cost Savings with Helix Micro Rebar
We integrate the Helix micro rebar, reducing the need for traditional horizontal steel reinforcement, except for the top course and some vertical steel. This is especially beneficial for kidney-shaped or curved walls, eliminating the need for No. 4 rebar in horizontal cavities and significantly cutting costs.
● Custom Interior Sculpting
Instead of using gunite or shotcrete with traditional formwork, we sculpted the interior of the pool using custom-made form shapes. These pre-cut foam forms create steps, seating areas, and shallow ends, arriving at the construction site ready for placement. This streamlined process allows the interior to be prepared for plastering within minutes.
● Energy Efficiency & Sustainable Heating
Our pools can act as a thermal heat sink, especially when paired with a heat pump or active solar heating system. This system extracts heat from the pool, reducing energy costs and making your home more energy-efficient in the long run.
With our innovative approach, we provide high-quality, customizable, and cost-effective swimming pools while incorporating the latest advancements in construction technology.
